  1. Sometimes in the midst of a busy life, we forget to make time for ourselves. If we want to get well and stop getting sick or being in pain, however, we need to take the time for self-care. Forgetting to do so becomes self defeating. If we don’t look after ourselves, we ultimately cannot help those around us. Self-care should not be done in a self-centered or selfish way, but with a mindset that nurtures and nourishes us.
