migraine holistic
Lump in the back of my head. Please don’t tell me to see a doctor…I plan to. ?
I just wanted to get a few more opinions while I’m waiting for my appointment. I guess I’ve had this lump for a while but I’m paying close attention to it now for no particular reason. It doesn’t hurt and it is on the right side at the back of my head but all the way at the bottom closer to my neck (but still my head) It doesn’t hurt and it doesn’t bother me besides the fact that it even exists. I’ve been reading up on holistic medicine and I have been stressed so maybe I’ve developed some sort of cyst? It has happened before.
I don’t get chronic headaches but I have had migraines recently which i just think is more stress. Any people in the medical field or just really into medicine that could give me their opinion? There is this girl I know that spends most of her time on WebMD and other medical sites looking stuff up so she has her fair share of opinions on any ailment. Any people like that on answers? Thank you for all your answers in advance.
I will agree with the cyst answer. I had one on the back of my head near the top. The best way to tell is if it feels just under the skin, and moves a little with the scalp.
My doctor said that I can have it removed but it will leave a scar and I will loose a patch of hair when they remove it. Or I could wait to see if it grew or it could go away on it’s own. They told me that they only worry if your known to have had cancer before or it felt as if it grew out of the bone.
